Highlights - Inaugural Songwriter Showcase & Fundraiser

On March 23rd, 2024 we hosted our inaugural Songwriter Showcase at the Ute Pass Cultural Center in the small mountain town of Woodland Park Colorado to help raise funds for our nonprofit. The Rocky Mountain Music Society had the honor of being the presenting sponsor in exchange for providing the entertainment and sound for the evening. The lineup kicked off with Ghost of Bodie, who is a young Americana songwriter from Colorado Springs. He was followed by the talented indie folk singer-songwriter Danny LeRoy, who delivered an intimate set of original tunes. Wrapping up the night was Roots-Rock songwriter “Tensas”, who delivered a solo-electric performance of originals and covers.

An estimated 65-70 people attended this free Showcase and Fundraiser, and we accepted cash donations from attendees throughout the night. We’re excited to continue hosting more showcases and concerts like this in the near future to help raise funds and instrument donations for our music nonprofit!
